Aceclofenac 100 mg +paracetamol 325 mg + Chlorzoxazone 250 mg
Aceclofenac+ Paracetamol+ Chlorzoxazone is indicated for pain and for muscle relaxation. Muscle pain (myalgia) is diffuse and usually indicates unpleasant feelings in the muscles, which may result from illness, injury or overexertion. It can be persistent or may also present at intervals.
Aceclofenac+ Paracetamol+ Chlorzoxazone has three drugs, i.e., Aceclofenac (painkiller), Paracetamol (antipyretic/mild analgesic) and Chlorzoxazone (muscle relaxant). They act by inhibiting the action of a natural chemical messenger called cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes which produce another chemical (prostaglandins) and act upon the central nervous system (CNS) to relax muscles and relieve pain and stiffness due to muscle sprain and strain.
Aceclofenac+ Paracetamol+ Chlorzoxazone should be taken as your doctor recommends for optimal results. The most common side effects of Aceclofenac+ Paracetamol+ Chlorzoxazone are nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach discomfort, diarrhea, and loss of appetite. If any of these side effects get worse or disappear, please see your doctor right away.
Aceclofenac and Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) both act by inhibiting the action of a natural chemical messenger, cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes that produce another chemical (prostaglandins). These prostaglandins are synthesized at the sites of injury or damage and produce pain and inflammation. Chlorzoxazone is a muscle relaxant and acts centrally on the spinal cord by depressing the reflexes and hence provides relief from pain and stiffness due to muscle sprains and strains.
Aceclofenac 100 mg + Paracetamol 325 mg + Chlorzoxazone tablet is a blend of two pain relievers i.e., Aceclofenac and Paracetamol, and the third drug in the combination is Chlorzoxazone acts as a muscle relaxant. Both drugs Aceclofenac and Paracetamol as pain killer drugs act by inhibiting the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are accountable for causing pain and inflammation. Chlorzoxazone causes the relaxation of the muscle by acting upon the centers located in the spinal cord and the brain to abate muscle spasms thus facilitating the enhancement of muscle movement.
Aceclofenac+ Paracetamol+ Chlorzoxazone is generally taken for a short duration and can be stopped when your pain is relieved. But Aceclofenac+ Paracetamol+ Chlorzoxazone should be continued if you are instructed by your doctor to do so.
Yes, dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady, or lightheaded) may occur in some patients taking Aceclofenac+ Paracetamol+ Chlorzoxazone. If you experience dizziness or lightheadedness, rest for a while and then get back to activity once you are better.
If you are having pain in muscles due to muscle injury or overuse, you need to rest. Resting will prevent you from further injury and aid in the recovery process efficiently. Ensure that you get lots of sleep and attempt to relax. Using an ice pack on the pain-affected area can be beneficial in reducing inflammation and pain. If your muscle pain is being caused by some other disease, take the doctor's advice.
